The first step in the booking process takes place when you send an enquiry using to contact form below to reach out to Cian letting him know that you'd like him to photograph your trip.

Please include the following information when contacting, including:

• The names of the courses you'd like Cian to photograph you playing
• Dates of the round(s)
• Number of golfers in the booking
• Any special requests (e.g. 50th birhday, retirement trip etc.)

Cian will then get back to you with a quote tailored to your request.

The number of images you'll receive after each round depends on the number of golfers in your booking. Typically, for one round of four golfers, you'd expect to receive approximately 100 images.

These images will be shared with the lead organiser of the group roughly two weeks after the final round has taken place.

Wait times to receive images will be longer if you book Cian for more than three rounds.

Once you have accepted the quote, a link to pay a non-refundable deposit worth 10% of your total booking amount will be sent via email to secure your booking.

Failure to pay the deposit within the specified time period will result in your dates being released for other golfers to book.

The remaining 90% of the total amount is due four months prior to your booking and is payable via this website. This will be communicated by email from Cian well in advance of this deadline.

The refund amount you're entitled to then varies in other circumstances, as outlined:

Course Closure

If a golf club deems the course unplayable in the days prior/on the day you're scheduled to play, (typically due to fog, heavy rain, high winds) 90% of your booking amount i.e. the total excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be issued. If the course is deemed unplayable after you have started your round, no refund will be provided if you have completed 6 holes of golf or more. If you complete fewer holes than 6 holes, a 50% refund will be issued.

Missed Flights/Connections

If you are unable to make your tee time due to missed/delayed/cancelled flights, you will be refunded 90% of the total booking amount. In this event, please contact me as soon as feasibly possible to let me know that you won't be able to make your booking. If you need to delay your tee time by 2 hours or more due to a delayed/cancelled flight, a €125 late arrival fee will apply and no refund will be applied if you complete 6 or more holes of golf. If you need to delay your tee time by 2 hours or more and you play fewer than 6 holes, a 50% refund will be issued and the €125 late arrival fee will be waived. If you need to delay your tee time by 2 hours or more and play no golf, a 70% refund will be issued.

Temporary closure of course

Often, a club can delay your tee time due to a weather delay resulting in a temporary closure either earlier in the day, while you're waiting to tee off, or when you're out on the course. A €125 significant delay fee will be charged in the days following your booking if a temporary closure results in a delay of more than two hours, and you manage to complete 18 holes. Similar to a full course closure/delayed flights, if you play 6 holes or more, no refund will be issued and the €125 significant delay fee will be waived.If you play fewer than 6 holes of golf, a 50% refund will be issued and the €125 fee for a significant delay will be waived.If you, your tour operator, or the golf club decide upon arrival, and within two hours of your original tee time that your booking is cancelled/forfeited due with no golf played, a refund worth 70% will be issued.

Booking cancelled by Individual

If, for reasons other than issues beyond your control, you decide to cancel your photography booking after less than four months out from your booking, you will be refunded 50% of your total booking amount. Cancellation more than four months out will be refunded 90% of the total amount.

Photography booking cancelled by Cian

If your booking is cancelled by Cian, you will receive a full refund.
